Oh God, I'm bawling again at the song I posted the other day - part of it is that the idea that family's what makes you feel safe and that my parents put the dog ahead of Molly's safety so she doesn't have that outside of just her parents, but part of it is the thought that she's just my small girl now, but one day she'll be an adult and coming home for Christmas - and then not coming home for Christmas because she'll have her own home.
Maudlin this morning
SS, I'm 36, married for 7.5 years with 2 children and have spent every Christmas Day with my lovely Mummy! (except for one year in Tenerife in my yoof).
There is hope!

I can always tell when Izzy doesn't like something - she wipes it off her tongue with her fingers. We had to give her a chocolate before bath time (well.. we were both having one, so it was only fair). When the tin of roses are all gone there will be less temptation for us all!

Gosh, that's a very long wait when you have problems NOW!*hugs*
I'm good ta.. Nope, no pink milk for a while, thankfully! Makes me go queasy at the thought! _pale_
FIL has just been saying OH ought to take me out more. I don't agree - can't be bothered right now anyway - but OH thinks it's a hint that they want to babysit. Fat chance! They haven't seen Rhys in months apart from Christmas Day; they have no idea about looking after him!
Incidentially, I think of it as each baby is individual and even though I've got one of my own, I'd still be very nervous about looking after someone elses. Is anyone else like that or is a baby a baby and they're all the same to look after?0 -

Ah I see! Will see what Jack makes of porridge tomorrow!
Elle - I would be happy to look after another LO for a friend however, I would be worried that I wouldn't know what they were crying for! I know Jack's cries and if i left him with someone at the mo with the silly feeding times etc - I would say 'Bottle is due around 7,30pm so give him a bath before' but at 7pm he was moaning for his bottle so he ended up having it at 7pm and then bath at 8pm. Now, I knew it was that but they probably wouldn't! IYSWIMA very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
