Tia are you tracking him on Norad?

    http://www.noradsanta.org/en/index.html

Liv, who no longer believes  is very interested in tracking him :p and is asking me hundreds of questions such as how long does it take to get from The North Pole to Norther Russia on a sleigh? And what country is he in before coming to us? And what day is it now in Australia. I think that thinking it's still yesterday for them is really making her brain hurt. :rotfl:

OH has just gone out to do his christmas shopping - he's such a man! (No offence intended MOTM/Bruno).

    Happy Christmas Eve everyone!

Had a lovely nights sleep with Leila cuddled up in bed with me. I know its naughty, but its Christmas! She puts her little arms around me and occasionally wakes up and pats me to make sure i'm still there. I love her soooooo much.

Might take a little trip to Asda today, just for fun!!! I dont need anything but will see if anything falls into my trolley.

My little brother (17) is coming to stay tonight so we can all wake up with Leila on Christmas day. This is my first Christmas in my life that I havent been with my mum on Christmas eve. It makes me feel like I have my own little family now and I can start our own Christmas traditions. Everything is wrapped, Leila's new pink gingham pyjamas are washed, popcorn is ready to be popped, ice-cream is ready to be eaten, carrot is ready for the reindeer, baileys is chilling in the fridge. I may be jewish, but I love Christmas!!!

Just going to do a bit of tidying (its a one off, I promise!)

    xxxxxxx

I was talking to my Australian friend last night at 10pm and she said it was 5am at home :)

I'm peeved with OH.. We talked about last minute Christmas shopping months ago, and he promised not to leave it to the last minute... And what's he done? Still not got my card, two of my presents and one of Rhys', then moaned last night that what he wanted was out of stock

    ETA: Hiya mooki! :hello:

Sorry to make Liv's brain hurt more, but Oz is ahead of us! They get Christmas (and so presumably their Father Christmas visit) before us Brits!

Mooki- Leila sounds so cute :D

Hmm - are we sharing the same OH?

He does it every year. A few years ago, in November, i'd pointed out some boots I wanted from River Island.

Rather than buy them then, he waited til Christmas eve and spent the day driving around the North West River Island branches to get them!

Like the man on GMTV this morning.
Reporter: why have you left your shopping till Christmas Eve
    Man: because i'm a man!!!

Me and OH are not doing presents this year. Having said that I did buy him a netbook for over £300.00 because QVC convinced me that we really really needed one and my life would not be complete without it!!! But thats a present for us to share so we are not getting anything else.

Did he get the boots in the end? In a way thats quite romantic because he had to put all that effort in (even though it was competely unescessary had he bought them earlier!!). But thats men for you - always overcomplicating everything. And they say that we are drama queens!!!

None taken considering I had all mine done ages ago. At least until an unexpected young lady entered my life and then I had to get more, but I don't mind such unexpected surprises

Btw, Australia have odd timings http://www.worldtimezone.com/time-australia24.php They are ahead of us, so the current times are evening.

Santa is waiting in the wings down under already ;)

    And mine!

I thought on the Norad tracker he went down there tomorrow after us?

Oh well, i'm sure she'll be too busy with presents to remember to track him in Aus tomorrow - and tell Mummy she's wrong! :p

Thinking about it - my Aunty in Aus normally phones us very early Christmas morning (here), a little bit !!!!!!. If its her christmas night its understandable. :o

Mooki - yes, he got the boots from the 6th River Island he tried. If he hadn't, i might have accidentally poisoned him with some dodgy turkey!

OH used to always do his shopping on Xmas Eve. I really laid it on thick, in August a few years ago, and told him I thought it showed a complete lack of thought for your loved ones and what good is a "Well, I wanted to get you X but it was out of stock so I had to get you Y instead" present..

Thing is, I know he's been buying things that were on my list last year (wanted the G&S Series 1&2 box set last year, and I know he's got me the 1-3 boxset this year) so it's not like he didn't have any ideas back in August.

He got a death stare last night when I said I was going to start in September and be finished by November next year and he suggested I start in January... hey, thankyou, Mr Bright Idea!
