Hello lovelies
I haven't a hope of catching up, so if anyone was looking for me and I missed them, sorry
Glam, I didn't get online yesterday to tell you I didn't have time to meet you, I'm glad no firm plans were made because it's been chaotic.
The trip was fine, we ended up delayed by only about an hour and Molly was wonderful. I fed her as we took off so no sore ears, the only problem was that she didn't want to feed then on the way down so her little ears were popping and she was a bit screamy. But people came to tell us how wonderful she is </brag>
The roads weren't anywhere near as bad as I was expecting, although the ramp from the multistorey after we picked the rental car up was a bit hairy... And we're here, we're safe, and everyone's being very careful about the dog, although he was on a lead earlier on and was permitted to smell Molly's feet. She didn't mind and he was rather unimpressed, so it shouldn't be too bad.
The only worry at the moment is my mother. Tomorrow would be my grandmother's 94th birthday, and this is the first one without her. My mother drank a bottle of wine and got extremely maudlin this afternoon, I wish I could make her feel better.
Anyway, that's our news - wrapping and baking to do tomorrow, plus a trolley dash around Tesco just for funsies
