I'd probably sell one Jillie, but wouldn't buy. However there are plenty of people about that know about cars and would drive miles to go and check out the right one.

    Worth a go, surely?

Hi, can anyone help wrt Quidco?

Some of my 'tracked' orders have an * next to them as in 'tracked*'. Any idea what this shows and why they are different than just tracked?

I've looked in the help but it's not very help-ful.

    Thanks
    Harley xxx

Hello Harley, not sure if anyone answered this cos I'm still catching up! The ones that have a * next to tracked in my Quidco account are all insurance type things that have a 'clause' of sorts relating to the cashback ie must not cancel within 3 mths etc.
Don't know if this will help any. I view the * as tracked subject to conditions?

As long as you cover your fees over and above the £80 there isn't much to lose I wouldn't have thought. Cash on collection if you can, I know you have to offer paypal but what comeback have you got if the trash it then try to claim damage or something. If you read to ebay thread some people have had buyers really try it on so just try your best to cover yourselves.

would anyone sell a car on ebay?

I listed my car on ebay in the summer but it didn't sell. Saying that it didn't sell on Autotrader either I eventually traded it in for the 4x4. Don't think it was ebays fault tho, just nobody in the market for a 2 seater converatble smart car!

Harley- I see know that Beenie has said something different about the Quidco * so I have no idea now sorry!

No. I got a chancer with the 'I give yoo check for £3000 and yoo give me change afta shipping car over to me in Turkey' line

Sold them on adtrader with no problems, and that's free.

Been a busy bee today. In September we got an Ikea Malm KS bed frame from freecycle that matches our wardrobes and stuff and its been lying in our bedroom while we saved up the cash for the mattress OH wanted  (£300!)

Anyway, happened to look on the Ikea website yesterday and saw they have 17.5% off all mattresses meaning we had enough saved for it:beer:
So today we've dismantled the old bed, put up the new bed, got all the new KS bedding out the loft, (we had a double before so I've been stockpiling KS stuff for the new bed), cleared out the linen cupboard of all the double stuff we don't need now and made 2 runs to the tip with all the old crap!
OH has been dispatched to Ikea for the mattress while I play with my new Dyson which is FAB!
So will have a nice comfy sleep tonight, yey!

Other jobs for today are to list stuff for freecycle and brave the snow and ice to walk to the shop for dog food.

This week I'm hoping to sort out clothes than baby has grown out of and tidy away his xmas stuff so busy week ahead too

I got all this with my Autotrader ad but just dinghed it. I was wondered why you said it was free then remembered it different prices for dearer cars! I was thinking I'd been done  :rotfl:
As its topical, anyone paying for an Autotrader ad, don't forget Quidco!

OH has sold his last two, and bought his last two on ebay - but he's a bit of a car nerd so knows what he's looking for.

What do you need to know?

He did get a couple of dodgy emails asking for the car to be shipped to some random African country!

And a boy asked for him to knock £100 off one, OH said no. Then he turned up to buy it, and just happened to be £100 short, so OH took him to the cash machine. :rotfl:
