what did you try and download ??
can you restart in Safe Mode ??......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple

Can you start in safe mode? Press f8 when starting. How far in the startup do you get? Are you running norton av0
-
What is the Operating System.
You should be able to hit F8 just as the PC is starting to get to the emegency boot menu. If you select "Last known Good" it should set the system (not data) back to how it was on the last successful logon.0 -
It was a game save for my ps3
and no i can run safe mode

Is it XP your running? if so do you have the XP install disk?
If yes, boot from it, select the repair option (if asked for admin password press enter) and type: chkdsk C: /rSometimes i surprise myself by being right.0 -
i dont no if i have the cd but is can run recovery console is that any use ?0

If you can get to command line to do chkdsk C: /r then that will work. I'm not guaranteeing it'll work, but the only other thing would be to put the drive into a different machine and check it that way (either by a external caddy or putting it into a machine).Sometimes i surprise myself by being right.0
