Mothers computer before, now your sisters, not having much luck with computers in your family at present.0

With any hosed machine here's what I do:
- Install AVG Free Antivirus, get latest definitions and do full sweep.
- Install Adaware, get latest defs and do full sweep
- Install and run CCleaner
- If you cannot install sofware to clean up the nasties, do an online sweep with something like Housecall or similar (http://housecall.trendmicro.com/). Once you are able to install the proper antivirus.
- Install HijackThis and see what if any dodgy services are being started up at boot. Remove these.
- Once machine is cleaned up you really should install a firewall like ZoneAlarm.
All the above are FREE! Bonus. If ytou want to spend a little money I would buy ESET Nod 32 Antivirus, its about the best IMHO. Good Luck

If you cant do things then please post. How are we supposed to know what youve done and what you havnt? The program will reset your HOSTS file (Which is 'probably' the main reason nothings working as it should):idea:0 -
what do i download on hostsxpert? softpedia mirror US or RO?
External mirror?0 -
hostexpert is a host editing program, on your computer you have a file called HOSTS, this file is used to prevent sites from loading.
of course if malware get installed this file could be used to stop you from downloading from malware removal sites. Usually it should only have 1 listing in there 127.0.0.1 localhost.
it also has a feature to restore the orinigal MS host file if yours has been modified by malware.
any of the links on there blaque.
Alienrik also asked you to post your malwarebytes log file.0 -
