wet phone

I don't have very good history with mobile phones and water :o having previously dropped one down a toilet, dropped one in a puddle and didn't realise :rotfl: I should really know better!
Last night I splashed my Samsung Tocco while in the bath, and now there is water under the screen. It is under contract from Orange, I am about 8 months into an 18 month contract with it. Oh and didn't take out insurance lol

Do phone4u still buy you out of contract? and do any other company do this? I really want an iphone on orange but don't want to take out another contract and leave this running at the dolphin 25 monthly rate!

You may laugh, but put it in a bowl of DRY rice, somewhere, WARM, not HOT. ;)

Take apart and stick somewhere warm for a long time. Bo Not switch on. Rice works, as above, also wrap in tissue is worth a try.

P4U will only buy out (if they even still do it) if you're in your last 3 months of contract.
