Do i need 3G?

Hello

I'm looking to buy a new mobile. I've been reading a bit about 3G as i didn't know anything about it.

I'm not interested in surfing the net on my phone and just wondered if 3G would still be beneficial or not.

    If you don't want to surf the net, or use any online apps then no you don't need 3G. If all you want to do is make calls and send texts then it is not going to benefit you in any great way.
