RBS Shares - Should I buy ?

    I work for RBS group and I'd rather buy Lloyds if I was I was choosing between the two but that's just my opinion.

    I would say an absolute BUY and I hold a load at an average of 35p. Short term there will be some volatilty but if your willing to hold for 2-3yrs+ you will double your money at least, simply as the govt have a huge stake in the bank and will want the bank to be a success so they can profit and obtain some much needed funds. Also RBS still has strong brands in insurance (direct line, churchill etc) and in investment banking.

    RBS may well sell of its insurance arms to comply with the tough requirements laid down by the EU regulator.

    For the share price to double RBS has to double in value. With dividends potentially not payable until 3 -5 years time thats difficult to envisage.
