Well, help me out then, what was it?

I certainly got the jism (spelling?) of the RICS report. I must say I had not heard of them before but they do seem to know a lot about the future. This sort of information must be like gold dust to those who have a bit of cash to spread around. tbh if house prices AND rents are going to rise then anyone who can afford it must surely get out there and start buying property.
Nice to have some good honest info for once that isn't just some vested interested garbage from a bunch of ill educated morons.0 -
you highlighted it, made a statement...Graham_Devon wrote: »I just wanted to highlight this part of the actual story...
but then proved that you didn't understand (again) by then saying...Graham_Devon wrote: »I haven't a clue.
and finally don't flatter yourself sunshine - i know it's not your fault that you're slow and don't understand things... :rolleyes:Graham_Devon wrote: »Not really my problem. RICS forecast house prices to rise in 2010, and now rents will be rising too..... Whilst interest rates and returns on savings are at an all time low.
Oh Dear.....
So if supply is still tight on sale properties, and now rental instructions drop off to the lowest level since the survey began....... Where are all the houses going?
Couldn't possibly be that the stock of both is now declining due to 250,000 new households being formed every year, but only 80,000 new houses being built.... Leading to supply tightness and raising prices and rents.
No, that would make far too much sense.
What happens in Scotland where the population is declining? Obviously Aberdeen will always have a waiting list to get in, but what about the other places.0 -
There is no shortage of rental properties and rents will not go up next year, infact they will probably drop - just like they have throughout 2009.
Worst article so far....0
