    And there's plenty of people in the DFW forum on here who graft their nuts off all the hours god sends and don't have £40 a month left over, let alone £40 a week.

    There are also bedsits in HMO houses and he could watch out for people looking for lodgers to rent their spare room - that can be a low cost option.
