Broadband and Calls

Hi,

Ive just been on the virgin media site and can get 60 channels, unlimited internet and calls for £37 a month, i was pretty happy with that - however they cant install it until the middle of Jan.

I really need Broadband installed with a phone line before xmas - i know this is really fine but BT is looking like £40 just for the phone and internet.

Does anyone know where i can get this from ASAP?

Thanks

    Pretty much yes.
Long story but only just found out lastnight were moving into a new house tomorrow.

Im not bothered about the phone line but it seems to come part and parcel.

Im thinking maybe a mobile dongle might have to be bought for a month but we need to connect a laptop and PC to the internet i dont fancy buying 2 dongles for the sake of 2 weeks.

  • buy one dongle and use an ad-hoc wireless connection from the pc to the laptop to let it connect to the internet. i can give more advice on setting this up if needed.

you really shouldn't rush into committing to a 12 month (i'm assuming) contract, plus i seriously doubt that BT would have you up and running before Christmas at this point.

Skintas, on that dongle each day is £2, not 30 days for £2.
