Nula, just because someone said this on the phone does not mean you have to accept it. After all <cynic>the job of a call centre is to fend off aggrieved people so that the organisation can continue profit making in its slumbers rather than fix peoples problems</cynic>Im a student nurse who recieves a monthly bursary which covers the rent and it was due on friday just gone and never went in. I phoned them and they advised me that they cant make the payment until January the 20th with my other payment.
In your position I would kick up merry hell and not accept the first answer. And if I did have to accept it, I would still kick up merry hell and raise a grievance.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. "Have a good Xmas, presumably funded by the rent money you've decided should be better spent on pressies... no silly me, somefink' else better to spend the £££ on eh???..."
Thats a very cynical thing to say when you dont know me. Im a student nurse who recieves a monthly bursary which covers the rent and it was due on friday just gone and never went in. I phoned them and they advised me that they cant make the payment until January the 20th with my other payment.
Sometimes people do have genuine reasons behind their predicament.
Nula
Ring back and ask them to put that into writing for you, fax to the letting agents if possible. The more open and above board you are the more likely the landlord is to be understanding.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0 -
being a LL, i am very cynical when tenants cannot pay their rent in December..... as Firefox says - get it in writing and send to LL - then at least they can see why you have no money this month -0
