    nothing happens
  • Presuming you are on a contract, your contract with vodafone will continue until you provide them with notice of cancellation, or until you request and use another pac.

Yep, nothing, the contract just continues. If you have finished your minimum term it will be 30 day rolling contract.

If you want it to cancel, you must cancel in writing.

i thought you have to write to cancel for them to give you a pac code?

so you can just order a pac code when contract is up?

You can cancel or order the PAC at anytime. But you can either cancel or request the PAC code. Not both at the same time, something that has caught me and many others out.

Once the contract is cancelled, or the PAC used. You only need to pay the remainder of the contract, in cases where you have already served the minimum term (12/18/24/36 months) then no amount is owed.

For the reason that you don't want to buy out/pay the remainder of a contract for cancelling early, people request the PAC code within the last 30 days of the contract to transfer their number over, so no amount is owed.

You can either cancel OR ask for your pac, you can't do both.

Cancelling ends the contract in 30 days (if your out of your minimum term) and you lose your number.

Asking for your pac end the contract when the pac's used by your new network to move your number to them.
