  • Received a refund e-mail and refund electronic credit note from dabs today, for £105.34. According to the details, it will be refunded onto my 'preferred payment method in a few working days'. I presume this means a refund to my original credit card - rather than an instore credit note.

IF I understand the thinking, I guess the repair was probably too expensive via MSI. So they are refunding me the full amount, minus postage & packing (£2.29 I think).

Sad really, I was hoping for a repair. Now I have have to buy an identical board from somewhere else. Ho hum!

Still, a result is a result. All thanks to MoneySavingsExpert and the help I received.
Many thanks everyone. At the beginning, I thought I had no rights. How wrong was I?
