Virgin Media, your thoughts?

I signed up to Virgin at the beginning of December. Here goes,
Engineers turned up to install, couldn't find the junction box. They then said they'd put a rod down the manhole to listen for where it is. Somehow they managed to do this from the comfort of their van before telling me they couldn't find it and left as they were running late for their next job.
They advised someone would call that afternoon to re-arrange for a 'special team' to come out.
No call. A full day wasted.
Called customer services 2 days later after no call and first spoke to 'Adrian' with a very strong Indian accent ( Who do they think they're kidding? ) who kept me on hold for 20 minutes before transferring me back to the main menu. Very annoyed i called back before being passed from pillar to post for 15 mins before being cut off completely.
Rang back, finally got through to someone else who transferred me twice before i finally got through to some engineering dept in the UK who was totally disinterested said someone would call me back.
3 days and still no call.
DD cancelled. Cancellation slip sent back to Virgin. Contract over.
I may be with talktalk now who are crap, but better the devil you know.
God knows what difficulties i would have had if my broadband/telephone had problems after installation.
