It'd like to give this one a go please. I think I'll set up a transfer between accounts for this as otherwise i would fail miserably!

I am going to transfer £7 weekly to an E account. I had this problem when I collected about £275 in pound coins last time I did the £1 a day challenge!

I had all these bags of 20 x £1 coins.

loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:
  • OOoopss.. sounds like I just missed you updating..;)

Can I also join as well? I think I am going to set up a transfer every week into a savings account.. I am not sure what I will spend the money on but hopefully something frivolous as I am desperately hoping that I will have paid off all my debts - if I haven't that's where the money will be going towards..

But new year and some positive thinking, so I am going to pay off all my debts this year.. even if it means working more than I would like..
    So please count me in..

Hi, please add me into the list.
I have joined the other challenge on MSE forum, but also like this one. I have done it two years ago, collected £1 coins into Robinson's bottle. It was great Christmas that time, we just moved the house and I spent it all for the house. I don't know what I am going to spend it on yet, but I am definitely going to be putting £1 each day into the bottle again.

    Count me in too please.

DH and I usually put small change in a bag then take to coin sorter once it's full, but ususally just spend it. Last time we had just over £70 which was great. We do tend to squander it though.

This will help to keep me on the straight and narrow and keep it all throughout the year.

    Thanks

  • I have just set up a Standing Order from my Current Account to one of my Savings Account - I've just got to figure out what to spend it on at the end of the Year...
  • Please can I join too?

Such a simple idea but a very effective one if I keep up with it. Would be brilliant to have £365 by Jan 2011 - what a great start to the new year xxx
