Pot wise I use an old SMA tub. Just superglue the top down and put a slit in the top. Only useful if you have some of these handy (I have loads!)

My mum uses an old water fountain bottle thing.

My dad used to save shrapnel in a (clean) juice can.

Can't think of anything else atm. Hope it saves someone a few pennies!

Can I join this one please?
I have an ING account that I don't use anymore so I will transfer £1.00 a day into that. I find if I use a pot it's so easy to dip into-this way it won't be.

Ow yeah, coffee jar with superglue, well perhaps not coffee, not sure I want to see all the money, far too tempting, but thanks for the idea.

Can I please join in also - I have a tin which you have to use the can-opener and will use this again next year. 2009 I managed to save £190 which I was really chuffed with so hopefully 2020 I can beat this.
