Mmm nice smells coming from my kitchen. I think when it's done I'll have to have a slice, purely for quality control purposes.

My books getting good, I'm already nearly 100 pages in, I only started it a couple of hours ago.

I have had puff pastry lessons from Mum. Although I say it myself the mince pies are superb - may not last until Christmas.

Ought to catch up on myfriend's ironing now but tired.
Don't want to go out tonight.

I've never tried puff pastry, but I can do normal stuff. Although I can only get it to work with bero flour, not cheapy stuff oddly. Can't be bothered this year, especially since I'm on a diet. Might do some ameretti biscuits some time though.

I'm sure you'll enjoy going out tonight Bookie, I'm really looking forward to my meal. Then again, a quick drive up clear city roads is a bit different to what you're facing.

I read that as 'catch up on boyfriend's ironing' then, and wondered when that had happened.

Hooray, nearly finished for the day - one more day to go! Tonight I have to somehow figure out how to get Mr Squizz's birthday present to him for tomorrow when I can't carry it, I don't know whether I'm staying at mine or his tonight, and I don't know if he can be persuaded to pick me up in the car at any point..
