Morning all!

I have snow. Which looks very pretty but I'm not looking forward to driving in it. Bath to Chesterfield today but the Highways Agency says it should be fine. I'd better get a move on though, I'm hungry already and I've got nothing in so I'll have to wait until Michael Wood services for breakie. If I can't get on the net tonight, I'll text Maz and ask her to tell you I'm home (if she's not too busy with GM). Talk soon.

I always get up early Sammy but I normally walk to work so have already left by 7:30 :eek: Decided to treat myself to the tube today!

Kayleigh - the train was fine yesterday - there's a lot snow by Peterborough but otherwise it seemed fine - am sure the motorways will be clear etc but dont forget a blanket and some water just in case you get stuck in traffic

all they do is smoke and drink really, but I don't want to buy them that

I am stuck at present no 2.....DD1 wants a camera but I don't know what model, so have texted her. DD3 wants singstar superstar Abba but i think i have to buy microphones too.....tres expensive....

Off to do 15 mins and have a think...

I have to brave scary shopping centre to do my last bits best find my list and get going.

Sammy - I feel your pain, no idea what I am getting! I feel a CC hit coming on!

I haven't been paid (thought we were going to be) as bloody stupid people decided to move this pay date to the 31st. So I am going to be really skint.

GRRRRRR to payday ness. just realised I won't be able to pay off cc before Christmas.

shouldn't really order filing cabinet then.

Gah as Beanie would say. Now where is my list?

Frozen solid here again but no snow.
Need to defrost the car and go to Jobcentre.
Making mince oies later I think.

Going out tonight with County Office staff. They have chosen a restaurant which involves navigating dark, icy country lanes to get to. I'm almost praying for 6 inches of snow this afternoon! Think it is forecast for this evening - could be a scary journey.

Hi all.. hope you're all good this slightly chilly Monday!

Had a bit of a funny weekend.. OH was indeed huffy on Friday but we sorted that out I think (I dragged myself back on a 7.30am train with a hangover to crawl into bed with him)... he's been very up and down though and I feel like I'm treading on eggshells a bit. Sunday I was going to do some last minute Christmas shopping (replacement for part of his pressie that hasn't arrived) and then go for a run, but got caught in a big downfall of snow, stumbled round the shops in a daze not finding anything and then slipped and fell on my knees - ouch!

Ah well, just two days left at work then (lots of fingers crossed for roads and flights being OK) am off!
