Call 18866 Warning

Yesterday I made two calls to vodafone mobiles via Call18866 and was staggered to get a "12 pence per minute" message as the call connected. Sure enough I checked my invoice this morning and a 51 second call was billed at 17p with a 1 minute 8 second call costing 29p. The last call to an O2 mobile on June 18th was at a rate I would expect as was a call to Vodafone (7p for a 41 second call). Has anyone else spotted this yet ? I've sent an email off to Call18866 asking them to explain so will post their response here but watch your call charges !!!

Just received the following reply from Call18866 :-

"Dear Sir or Madam,
Thank you for your email.
We are sorry for the inconvenience. Due to a technical fault you have been overcharged for UK Mobile calls.
This has now been corrected and the calls will be charged for the correct tariff which is 3p/min.
We hope this has answered your question."

I wonder how many other customers were over-charged "due to a technical fault" and have not noticed or been refunded.
