Vodafone mobile insurance - unable to give me same phone in replacement
Hello.
My Sony Ericsson C905 is knackered and I have Vodafone insurance on it. I went to a Vodafone store today, to be told that its no longer available so I can't have it as a replacement. I also apparently can't have any Blackberry phones, any HTCs, the SE Satio, or the Nokia N97.
They basically told me that the best one available I could have is the Samsung Tocco Ultra, which from looking at reviews doesn't appear to be.
Is it any good? If not, any other suggestions as to what I can do? I'd much prefer the same phone as replacement, but I have several months left so don't really want to buy out the contract.
Any suggestions

For insurance, I believe you should be able to get the same phone specs or if none available then a better phone. Otherwise it is a cash payout to the value of the phone.
The C905 is £100-200 less than the N97/Satio so that is probably why the insurance won't give you one of those instead. How the Samsung Tocco Ultra is in the C905 price range.
Im surprised they cant get the C905 as you can still buy it, might be worth asking for a cash payout for about £250 and buying it yourself. http://www.play.com/Mobiles/Mobile/4-/5890467/Sony-Ericsson-C905-Cybershot-Sim-Free-Unlocked-8-0-Megapixel-Mobile-Phone/Product.html?&_$ja=tsid:11518|cc:|prd:5890467|cat:Mobile+Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies0
