Thanks to OP - would have missed this otherwise. Got a VIP slot, and as advised above having the catalogue number and doing quickshop made it a lot less painful. I got everything I wanted, but then went on to browse and things were going out of stock as I was trying to put them in my basket.

Worried about previous comments on site crashing, so panicked and did my shop in 2 parts. Paying delivery twice seemed a small price to pay, given that the discount on most of the boots and shoes was 50-70%!!

I also have a lot of stuff with 2-4 weeks, so not holding my breath based on what some of you are saying.

There are some bargains to be had there, shame I did my order at 7pm. Strange because they are not listed anywhere that I can see. :j

I hope there's still plenty left for me at 9pm, i have written down all my item numbers so i can type them in rather than searching through the sale list again, mainly after clothes for the dd's.

Yes seems to be loads left. I accidentally ordered my husband a pair of 46R trourses - it should have been the jacket to go with them. I managed to get back on just and order (although will have to pay the 2nd delivery charge :rolleyes:) - order a few more things for myself!

I'd agree it's much better to do the quick shop.

All the in the night garden stuff i wanted was sold out, but has anyone noticed that electricals section appeared at 7pm?

Don;t know if it will work, but when all my items were in my basked the code after the 6 numerical digits changed to GT1, maybe this will give others who didn't have a slot the chance to buy now?
I can't test it, but can someone try?
so instead of the item number being 465528X44, try 465528GT1

You only need to order the first 6 digits, dont bother with the last 3. I wrote all my codes down yesterday and it took me a matter of 10 mins to order about 27 items, much faster. :j

I know when you have a vip slot you only need the 1st 6 digits, but for those that don't have a slot they could try using quickshop and changing the last 3 digits (eg x44) to GT1

I hate AOL :mad: :mad: :mad:

I was happily filling my basket when I lost my internet connection not just on next but every Bl***DY website!!!! and on every pc in the house. Because I lost my connection my basket emptied so I am not able to log in as I've "missed" my slot.

This was an issue that AOL had last week, with some websotes, and I thought they had sorted but NO... the only night that I can get online as a "VIP" and bag a few bargains for my ever growing children, not to mention one or two items for me....:mad:

I did phone next and was able to place a small order for some items which I had taken a note of the codes, which is some consolation... :rolleyes:

Anyone that did their shop in more than one order - when your statement comes through, phone up customer services and they will refund you all but one of the delivery charges.

I do this every time and never have a problem - I just say that because their site was jamming up and so slow I had to place my order over several checkouts.
