Better late than never................
Can I join please?
As of today I owe a whopping £14278.24
Have decided to get rid of all the silly little debts first, then chip away at the bigger ones.
I've realised that if I don't start taking control of this debt, no-one else is gonna do it for me.
I have 1 loan that I took out to clear my credit cards 2 years ago......
3 credit cards, all at their limit, a couple of storecards with ridiculously high APR's and an ever incresing gas bill!!
Was scary when I first added it all together but I'm looking forward to watching the total come down bit by bit.
Welcome to the thread Cherry. Dragon will be along soon to sign you up I'm sure.
Your total debt is about the same as mine so we'll all chip away together.
Have you done a snowball to prioritise which debt to pay first (the highest apr basically) and to find out your debt free date? Its very motivating.
Great to have you on board and good luck.0 -
yey i have paid off CC1 £33.40 and knocked £500 off CC2 so have finally made a start woo hoo!no idea what that might be in terms of percentages or anything but if u can update my totals £533.40/£19000 that'd be great ;-)0

Hi everyone, and a massive welcome to everyone joining the challenge in the last week or so.

Finally managed to make a dent in the total - after having had to use CC to pay car repair bill:o the totals didn't go down at all (in fact went up but I refused to post until I was making the total go down again:D)
New payments for me today are £427:j:j

Nowhere near as good as it sounds because there was a very large element of "borrowing from Peter to pay Paul" but during February I paid £6,524.84 towards various creditors.
%wise this takes me to 12.5554167%0 -
Okay back after the weekend of not really getting on the computer (spending time with Dr Dragon LOL)
