  • I haven't posted in a bit but have just updated my signature, now up to 57% as I made a massive payment at the start of the month to pay to pay off my car loan, now working on paying a few other bits off before really hitting the credit card. I know this may not may be the best way but it will make me feel better if I clear all the little bits & then just 1 to go.

    Well done blood. Yay!!

You've paid a phenomenal amount off your debt already. You put me to shame :D And I always notice, because you're the next name on the list after mine. :)

    Thanks!

LOL. It will slow down for us now I think, we somehow totally lit a fire under us for the credit cards though, and I'm so relieved they are gone!

And trust me, there is /plenty/ more to go! :)

You and me both! My last car loan payment goes out 1st April. It will mean almost £300 per month to throw at the next debt.

Snap! My last full payment of 299.87 goes out on April 1st but got 60 to pay May 1st, then I'm done! It's the first I've ever kept a car the full term, not even been tempted to buy a new one - still love the one I've got, even if it was a huge factor in my debt but we live and learn.

I have paid another 87.07 off my debt, thanks Dragon for all the updating!

    Hope xx

    Better late than never................

    Can I join please?

As of today I owe a whopping £14278.24

Have decided to get rid of all the silly little debts first, then chip away at the bigger ones.

I've realised that if I don't start taking control of this debt, no-one else is gonna do it for me.

I have 1 loan that I took out to clear my credit cards 2 years ago......

3 credit cards, all at their limit, a couple of storecards with ridiculously high APR's and an ever incresing gas bill!!

Was scary when I first added it all together but I'm looking forward to watching the total come down bit by bit.
