Boots after-Christmas sales - 75% off now over?

Nipped in Trafford Centre boots on way to work tonight.

Only few shelves left now in the front right of the shop (ie right next to the exit/entrance near halifax). There were the old lady lavendar sets, little old lady white and pink bags, chocolate tree slabs, the tubes of biscuits (I think?), the strippy mugs. Nothing too interesting!

hi - just to say that in the new Boots store in Bath Southgate today there were lots of purple Fairtrade travel bags, gold Chilli Pepper bags, the blue and white Chillli Pepper body trio thingy, some Celia Birtwell purses/key fobs, chocolate discs/trees/champagne truffles, lots of Star Trek stuff, some High School Musical mugs, loads of goodworks red bags with three little travel minis in them....and here my brain runs out :A

Never got chance to look at the sale not that I really needed much

Now after a hatbox never tried the soap and glory range did give lots of hints to people they must not listen LOL. They are going for too much on ebay missed the one that went for £25.

i bet this is why my order was cancelld too,my order was large too as i have a big family and the order was birthday and christmas presents for the year,did they at least give you some points as compo?

If that was the one that went weds evening last week sorry bout that, that was me. I'd been after one for my sis for ages and just had to get one for her after weds mornings web sales fiasco! There are a couple of comps to enter on soap and glory's website if you fancy winning some goodies. My sis is so happy with her hatbox tho, it was like another little Xmas for her! I couldn't believe I managed to get it and was able to use my eBay plus points too to knock the cost down a bit. I was convinced that boots spies were waiting for me to leave the house so they could put the hatbox back in stock!

Well i've decided I don't need half of the stuff I bought so will gather a list of everything I'm taking back and will let everyone know encase anyone wants anything i've got i'm taking back

have had nothing yet but i will be phoneing them or sending them a strongly worded e-mail, next year i am just getting a couple of each and hoping it gets though

This is more or less same story as mine but mine was 1 order which wasnt very big, yet the bigger order i put through was delivered the next day so i think they just make any excuse. I have reordered the cancelled 1 again but dont hope out much hope of gettin it :eek: i have a reference no to use to get it at sale prices
So i will live in hope
