You really got lucky, people have posted on here before about losing their cards and CS has told them there is nothing that can be done about stolen points as there's no way to verify that the person didn't use the points themselves. I think it's wonderful that you got your points back, but I can totally understand why Boots wouldn't reimburse them most of the time -- I know there are a few people out there who would spend their points then try to get them back from Boots if they could.

It's funny (in a bad-business sort of way) how inconsistent Boots is, when you consider that someone else just got told it was up to the SA whether a person could get the third item on 342 when the sales lady didn't tell her about the offer, when that should be an absolute given that she should get it!

Popped into Fosse Park, Leicester this morning - quite a few bare shelves, but still a fair bit left if it's what you want - loads of Bubbles & Truffles sets, a couple of shelves of survival kits, one lonely Gok sitting on the back of a bottom shelf (so be quick :P ), a handful of Botanics sets, a shelves worth of modern flowery diary and notebook sets, and lots of old-fashioned flowery toiletry sets/little bags etc. There also seemed to be crackers spread all over the shop.

Had hoped for some toys, but apart from some reduced Street Racer hotwheels cars, everything appeared to be full price again.

Sorry I'm not more detailed, or if I missed anything, I was on a bit of a speed shop before an appointment, but I'm assuming you more experienced Bootsers will know what I'm talking about in most cases.

just wanted to say i got really messed around by boots.com during the 75% sale and ended up having my order cancelled, afted a heated phone conversation,sorry after ANOTHER heated phone conversation between them and myself on friday i received a call from them today apologising for my inconvenience and they have also put 1500 points on my advantage card for my trouble!:jso if anyone else has had problems during this sale it might be worth pushing for some points

I had tried to return something I bought offline in store and buy back on a different card and was met with gasps of "We cant possibly do that!" She said the stock was different to stock in stores, goes through till different, might not even have barcodes on etc etc and when i finally convinced her to do it she said I will have to ring such and such a place etc etc so I eventually gave up and told a woman to tell her it didnt matter anymore, to which this woman replied "We have just never done that type of thing before"... so guess it all happens on the sales assistant!
