Boots after-Christmas sales - 75% off now over?

I had no joy online so visited some stores today. I thought it was funny out of the 5 stores I went to, they mainly had the same stock left, so there were some obvious non-sellers!

I went to Leamington Spa Parade Store at about half nine. Lots of stock. No Sanctuary or Soap and Glory though. Lots of the Boots Old Fashioned Body Sets - the nice ones in the pink gift boxes. LOADS of the minature perfume and aftershave sets.

Also, the Miss Sixty Perfume set (30ml) was £14 but is going through at £2.56 so more than 75% off.:T

I went to the Leamington Shires Retail Store and they had just a few aisles which not much loot! Mainly the little Fairtrade £6 ones in abundance and Star Trek goodies.

Then I went to Coventry Central 6 3.30 ish and they had about 6 things left!! Mainly chocs

Then I went to Cov City Centre Store and this was much better. Got lots of scotch gift wrap tape (sad I know!) as it was 50p per dispenser and I have a thing about using special tape like this!! They had a lot of the Ted Baker Sets and LOADS of gift wrap.

Then lastly, Ricoh Arena store where there was hardly anything atall!

I think the lesson I learnt is that the retail park stores sell out quicker as people think it is easier to shop there presumably so better to venture into town!

So I let her have keep the points she earned and she just went back and bought herself a lovely Celia Birtwell set. Just to end even though I E-Bay I agree that Boots should operate a policy like Tesco where a person is only allowed 6 of an item at a time. I am sure there were a lot of disappointed people today.

Ohhh Rose, was there much stock left at Broadmead? I was thinking of a trip up there after work, but it'll take me over an hour there & back and I've been at work all day - don't want to go if theres no stock

ive just been in to pontypool store and got some fab stuff got some star trek mugs for 1.50 got some hot chocolate mugs with marshmallows for 2.00

got some nice biscuits for 1.50 too

I went to the Boots in Abingdon, oxfordshire and got loads!

I got there at 9am and ended up with 4 larges carrier bags of stuff, well thats the adults birthdays and xmas for the next year :rotfl:

Hi they had some in the Fargate store this morning at 9.30am

A woman bought the last two at Chesterfield Road, almost got it myself, but couldnt carry anymore.

Did they have any N07 or S&G on Fargate (Im not hopeful though lol)

Hi all,
I went to our small local store at 9am today just 3 of us there then managed to get loads of things i wanted and more!
Then had to go to poole got there at 10.30ish still quite alot left spent another £20 so have got everything i wanted apart from toys! so well pleased!!
