  • I went to my local store today and there wasnt much worth buying. I thought it opened at 10am but when i got there it was heaving so i got that a bit wrong!

    I ended up with -

    2 pairs of Totes socks which i love! £4 & £3
2 photo frames (gifts) £6 each
2 leather jewellery boxes (gifts) £4 each
Wrapping paper, ribbons etc for next christmas.

I got so much last year so bit disapointed this year.

I manged to get 150 extra points as i got a voucher out of the ACM for 150 extra points when you spend £25 :D

I also found a bunch of gift bags on a shelf which i thought would be handy for these presents, took them to the till and SA said they were only free when you bought any Sancutary product. She asked if i still wanted them, they went through till as 1p but she just gave them to me! How nice! :j
Saving my pennies for my wedding on 10th August 2013! :D :j
    First date 28/01/2010 :) Engaged 25/08/2011 :D Getting married 10/08/2013 :j

Heaving in my boots today just after 9am managed to get the soap & glory stripey bag gift set which were flying off the shelves, at this rate I think they'll be nothing left for the 75% off sale!! lol
  • I went into the Maidstone Boots at 0955 today and not busy at all and there was loads of stuff. Got all I wanted for £55 and then the cashier used my boots points and all I paid for £110 worth of stuff was £3!!!!! Now I have to say that is the bargain of the century. This year I shopped for myself and not others, as I find there are bargains all year round to be had. Can't wait for the 75% sale, although do agree with some other posts - there was definitely more selection overall I think. Although very pleased with my totes, aromatherapy kits, national trust stool, and handwash and lotion sets for my spare bathrooms. Happy shopping peeps.
Food and Smellies Shop target £50 pw - managed average of £49 per week in 2013 down to £38.90 per week in 2016
  • The No7 ultimate collection started the day off at £20 but then at head office they realised it was selling too well/quickly, so they put it up to £30 in the afternoon. We were told this in a mtg by our manager. Unbelievable!

Loads of stock left in Edinburgh Cameron Toll Boots and Straiton Park Big Boots.

    :)
  • I was more than happy to pay £30 in-store for the Ultimate Collection and treated myself impromtu (and felt guilty after) on the CK In2U box set for £13.50. I'm going away before the 75% sale starts so it was now or never. and it then rained for the rest of Boxing Day so stayed at home watching Harry Hill. Bliss!
  • Really pleased with my bargains
Ruby & Millie travel brush set £7.50
Mens No7 set with mirror £8.00
    Playmobil road sweeper £7.00
