I know it's not a big designer brand, but in case anyone uses the range - there are two Botanics Mens gift sets in the sale - full size products and they work out cheaper than the usual 3for2 deals on the individual items - it's a nice neutral scent too if you have any mens birthdays coming up you're struggling for.DFW Nerd no. 884 - Proud to [strike]be dealing with[/strike] have dealt with my debts0

Has anyone noticed better sales in-store at Boots than there are online? On hotukdeals, xxHollyXX posted that the No7 Ultimate Collection (orginally £60) that is £30 online is now £20 instore, and that the Elle Ultimate Elle set that was £40 and is now £20 online costs only £13 in store. I wonder if there are other bargains you need to go in-store to get? And I wonder if that is at all stores, or just her local?0

just back from Boots sale. Everything was half price, so I do not know how anyone got any different discounts. Maybe just local to their branch? Anyway wasnt much. I got the CK in2 you gift box for £13.99 then saw it in the The Perfume Shop for £12.99

Just an fyi, if you use paypal and need to do a refund on one of the items, they can't do it in the store and you have to send it back to the warehouse. This can take awhile to get your money back, not to mention the chance the box gets lost in the works somewhere when you mail it back.
I didn't realise this when I put my order in and thought "Oh Hell!!" because I don't trust sending things back by post neither!
I have just phoned Customer Services to clarify this and they said that you can definitely return things to a store for a refund that were paid for by Paypal as long as you take the Paypal linked bank card with you.
So everything is OK and if they won't do it look out........as the CS person told me they do!!! :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
seems like there won't be much decent stuff left for the 75% sale...all the items on my wishlist are out of stock already...good thing I bought some soap & glory sets to last me for a while...£9500/£10000 baby fund saved so far0

Wow, that is good to know, maybe it just depends on if you get an SA who understands how to handle Paypal refunds? And if they don't know what to do they just tell you to mail it back? I know people have reported long waits because items couldn't be refunded in store if they used Paypal. I still wouldn't use Paypal with Boots because I try to avoid things that could mean a potential Boots-style hassle, but your info will be very helpful to others who do; thanks! I'd bring the CS number with me and dial it on the spot if the SA said she couldn't do the refund, lol.0 -

Some of the items I wanted were out of stock online every time I checked even when they were just 342. Ah well, I'll still pick over the leavings when it goes to 75%, lol.0
