I was going to stay up but am so tired after last night i don't think i can! I don't even think sale will start tonight but am still tempted
  • Do they have any more stock going out on the shelves as my local 'big' boots, has very little in at 50% off......
  • I went to the broadmarsh and the vic centre

Broad marsh had lots of no7 skincare sets, the nail sets, the bathing sets, only a few ultimate collection, they also had elle stuff, R&M make up sets, the small ted baker gift sets, lots of other bits, they had quite a bit more than vic centre which had loads of no7 ultimate sets, a few other bits but can't remember off the top of my head, what were you after and I'll try and recall if I saw it

    HTH
Really want the No7 ultimate set that was £60 ( i had a free sample given to me of the day cream & night cream and love it) I won't be able to get in till the weekend, I hope they will still have some left
  • Doesn't anyone think that maybe Boots might hold off as long as possible with their 75% sale and keep it at 50% for alot longer this year? Last year the hype of the 75% sale on MSE caused the Boots website to crash goodness knows how many times, there must have been thousands trying to order stock. There is obviously a demand for Boots gift sets from Xmas from customers but I can't see why Boots don't just keep it at 50% til the stocks are alot lower and sell the remainder at 75%. Sell the left over dregs in the stores, not online and that gives everyone a fair chance of getting a bargain from the leftovers if they go to an actual store which is how everyone got their bargains in the good old days.

Just a thought...! I'm sure you'll all shoot me down in flames.

I could not believe how much stock was being put out on the shelves in mine this evening. They were unloading crates and crates!

Really good marketing sense, Boots should gradually increase the discount over weeks.....60%, 70% and then to 75% to make more profit like M&S did upto last weekend reducing items by £3 to £5 and people just bought because of futher reductions.
