Wow Im surprised at al the posts saying they have loads of stock left of toys no7 etc.
Im up here in Glasgow Bonny Scotland and most stores I have visited have very little left at all. I have been checking them regularly and there has been no change.0 -

How local are you to the town? My nearest store is small but I'm going to pop in and see what they have left.
Is Broadmarsh a better choice than Vic or Riverside?
I go to uni about 10 mins away from vic branch so it's really easy to pop in. I haven't been to riverside but might take a trip to check the stock levels. I've not checked any of the smaller stores over the city as they are all so small I didn't think it would be worth it.
It's quite sad really to pop in every day, the sale season has given me boots fever, I've been boots mad since the hatbox, I'll be glad when it's all over, we've grabbed our bargains and we're back to normal boosting! (if there is such a thing;))
Depends what you want regarding broadmarsh or vic, if you an ultimate collection got to vic
*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!NSD Jan 2/150 -

Last year the hype of the 75% sale on MSE caused the Boots website to crash goodness knows how many times, there must have been thousands trying to order stock. There is obviously a demand for Boots gift sets from Xmas from customers but I can't see why Boots don't just keep it at 50% til the stocks are alot lower and sell the remainder at 75%. Sell the left over dregs in the stores, not online and that gives everyone a fair chance of getting a bargain from the leftovers if they go to an actual store which is how everyone got their bargains in the good old days.
Just a thought...! I'm sure you'll all shoot me down in flames.
Stores tend to prefer to sell their sale for as much as they can for a time period then get rid of it asap to free apce for full price stock on which they will be making a mucher greater profit on.0 -

) a few kids bits, mugs etc, thats about it.
Pride Park was condensing its sale stuff all onto one aisle when I was there on Monday - they have some Little People toys in their sale aisle, but really not much else at all - I think they may have had the Sanctuary bags though.
Has Riverside got any No7 Ultimate sets? thanks0 -
Oh I dont think I can wait till next week hahaha
It was such an anticlimax today!
Although at least I am better prepared on how to have enough sleep to be checking online as well as being awake enough to get up in the morning to go to the shops!0 -

I popped in Cardiff shop the other day (in St David Quadrant? I'm new to the area so not too sure on names).... Anyway, they had about a fair few aisles of stuff still in there, including 1 aisle just full of those gold chilli pepper bags, so hopefully they'll still be plenty in there for you next week.
Oh they had tons of reduced perfume sets too..

Really fun at our local boots. I arrived at gone nine on the off chance of the sale starting today. A huge crowd of ladies with huge pull along shopping trolleys, they seemed confused. No signs were displayed other than the 50% off. I said it is obviously not today. A lady starting filling baskets in the hope of a mistake. I said I would check with the till operator. No definately only 50%. I thought oh well and left about half an hour later I walked past the store again and the same group of ladies were waiting outside the doors of the store. Apparently they had caused such trouble in the store complaining that someone who worked there had told them it was to start today. That they were all asked to leave the premises!!! Can you get barred from Boots? Seems like a bit of a worthless argument to me.
Although it doesnt surprise me last year the police were called because of the behavior of some customers. They had to barricade staff and stock for protection!!!0 -

The only thing I have left in my basket now is that Giant Inflatable Ball thing at £35

The online sale has grown quite substantially today I have noticed.Come ride with me, through the veins of history...
