Vodafone & credit check

I have just tried to order a pay as you go phone from Vodafone as I know I will not pass a credit check, and still declined???
Surely there is not much risk with a pay as you go.

If your not ordering a contract, then there wont be a credit check. I.e. Buying a phone is just like buying any other product. As to the PAYG sim card, it is much the same you buy a PAYG sim and put credit on it before using it. No credit checks.
You can pick up PAYG sims with your normal shopping in many supermarkets.Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.

Don't worry you're not being declined for a credit check.
DarkConvict is right there is no credit check on Pay as you Go.
We were experiencing issues with our online store for these purchases. If you are still having difficulties you can buy the phones in store as well.
