I won't give any advice, as when it comes to relationships, i'm terrible, but I just want to wish you all the best and let you know if you ever need a 'mans' perspective, I'm a PM away.

    Hi
I'm sorry your feelings so !!!!!!. You say you don't have any friends where you live what about joining a group/getting a hobby or doing a p/time class. i know it's all a bit of an effort but if you had a bit more going on for you - it may give you a bit more confidence, take up some of your time and a way of making friends. The local paper usually has listings of meetings for groups. The local librabry will also have info on all sorts of things and the college(although you will be waiting till Sept now) for p/tie courses. You have always got the people on here but I think you need face to face contact too.

I don't want to criticise your b/f when I don't know the full facts but I will anyway! Altough you need to have your own interests etc - what's the point of the relationship if you don't do anything together at all? Has he always been like this or did something happen or was it a gradual lack of time together? If it's always been like this perhaps he thinks your happy for things to continue?

At least you recognise you are drinking too much and can try and address the problem.

It's hard making the first step to change and can be scary BUT you're not happy now. I wish you every good luck.

Thank you everyone for your kind words.. We had a good talk last nit and i told him how i was feeling ...We have drawn up a schedule so we both know what we are doing he is going to cut down on his golf and spend more quality time with me, he is only going to play golf once at the weekend.... and we are going to go out more and do more things together. We are going to get the bikes form his parents house and start doing more fun things together. I know he loves me and i love him so hopefully things should improve.

Thanks again to all the lovely caring people on this site:T :A
