Hi, I don't think that excessive at all, like you say - it is so difficult finding somewhere who will rent to bankrupts, you have a little one too. I bet it's not even mentioned.
As for uprooting your one year old. My youngest was 13 months old when we moved. I was devastated that I had done this to my children.. eldest then 4. My girls love our rented house. 4 months in and the little house in ******* is long forgotten.. by the children anyway. Your little one will thrive from having two chilled out parents

The rent sounds fine to me. Just wanted to say read all the sticky's on the first page. Loads of valuable info there, and ask as many question as you need! Welcome and Good Luck. It is scary, but it is really the best thing you will ever do. A debt-free, stress free future.

Hello and welcome
First if all, the OR is human, so please dont panic too much-they are courteous, polite and professional in 99.99% of people's experiences.
Have you read up on bankruptcy yourself? If not there are some great stickies at the top of here or look at www.insolvency.gov.uk for more information. Be prepared, knowledge is power etc etc.
I know CCCS are doing your forms, but make sure you are claiming the full living costs to make sure you can live comfortably after BR. You can fill on in here http://www.makesenseofcards.com/soacalc.html and post up on your thread-lots of very experienced people here will help you with it.
Also, this will help you work out roughly what amount of IPA you might get too.
As to the rent, just as reassurance, my income plus my DHs income is approx £1300 per month. Our rent is £550, rising to £595 in Feb-our OR was fine with this-we left behind an £850 mortgage payment .
Remember to keep the house insured until it is formally repossessed-buildings will suffice-and the OR should allow this as essential expenditure on your SOA.
Keep posting-you will get lots of fantastic advice on here, and it will help to voice your fears and worries.
One more thing-stop paying all creditors now, including the mortgage if you are giving up the house-save this for your BR fee.
Good Luck
