Because you shouldn't be scared of meat!
It's already dead, it's not going to bite you!0 -
You could always give it a rinse under the sink, offensive bit of blood gone forever!
Can't understand why the British Housewife is so squeamish about meat!
I'm a butcher's daughter though so won't generally buy very much supermarket !!!! meat, not been hung properly, all packaged in sweaty plastic, those 'nappies' underneath to collect the blood, yes the animal is still bleeding because not enough time has gone from it chewing the cud in a field to it landing on your plate!
More damage being done to your meat sat in a sweaty bit of packaging than a teeny bit of blood!
I'm not squeamish about meat, and i don't mind the sight of blood, just not in a big lumpy clot. It's not something i've ever seen before and it does look pretty disgusting.0 -

Are you squeamish, or aren't you????0 -
I think I would find it a bit gross but personally I would probably just poke it, show it to OH, then flick it in the bin and carry on cooking lol
but that's just me

Why the cheeky replies? She was just asking for some helpful advice! I'll eat pretty much anything but a blood clot would put me off a bit.....0

Thank you, a sensible reply at last. As for the rude replies I think some people just like to make themselves feel better by looking down on others, it's a bit sad really and not what this forum is supposed to be about.0 -
