Rusty what on earth are you selling, you are doing brilliantly!

Right, I know that this forum is all about making money not spending it, but I have got some money in paypal which I am hoping to put towards building up my craft stash and buying presents, so I was thinking, It would be brilliant if at the same time as spending money, I could help other people earn it! So if anyone wanted to either post their ebay usernames, or PM them to me, then I will have a look, and maybe buy something from you :). I hope noone minds me posting this, it just seemed quite a good idea, as I'm going to be spending it anyway, so why not make money for all the rest of you :) lol. xxx

I saw something the other day and thought it would be perfect to split into lots and sell on ebay, I didn't have the money at the time but payday was yesterday. They were a pack of 72 which usually sell for over a £1 a peice and the offer was £8.00 for a pack of 72. I wonder which website they were on now???

    Thanks Rusty - I'm off for a look. :j

Hlcarrol - I sold loads of craft stuff on ebay the other week. Pity. I would have rather given it to you than sell it for the silly prices it went for.

Those things I was talking about before had sold out - I should have got them while I had the chance but I was saving my pennies for the Boots sale at the time!

HLCarrol have you tried this website for craft stuff? It's really cheap and it'll work out even cheaper if you buy lots as free postage on here over a certain amount, whereas with ebay if you have lots of sellers means lots of postage to pay (ifswim)

    www.madaboutcards.com it's brilliant.

  • Thanks elysia, i'm going to have a look now :). Didn't your stuff go for much then? It's so annoying when that happens, especially when you know it's worth so much more, but then again I can't really complain because I'm mostly a buyer on there now so its good for me! Althrough (and I know this isnt really money saving!) I once bid on a pair of heeleys for my sister and got them for 99p with free postage but they had only been worn once! The woman emailed me after to say that they had been sent, and explained that she had meant to start them at £9.99 rather than 99p and her daughter was upset as she was saving for a school trip(it sounded less begging than how i've put it!) so i payed an extra £5. I sound abit soppy now, but it still saved me alot of money on what a new pair would have!
    Im rambling now... sorry!! xx

    LOL. You're not rambling.

Some things went for 99p which I was quite upset about. Other things went too expensive for what they were (Molton brown travel sizes) - so I put in a few extra bottles to make it up to what I thought it was worth, and lost out anyway as the post and packaging doubled. :( I feel guilty if the price goes up too high.

I haven't got my selling genes off my Mum - she could sell ice to eskimos.:D
