    Xmas Saver!

I still waiting for my Doohoo to come, two weeks later, I`m still reviewing but am going slower, because my £20.00 havent come. They told me I had to review a review, which I did, it was my first one and must have been on Planet Zog when I did it as its was awful. I editted it all and am waiting to hear. They are slow though.

Dooyoo are getting slow at paying out, my friend is still waiting for £20 that she ordered start of month, so whether there going through all reviews with a fine tooth comb don't know.

I listed 11 items on ebay including books, clothes, craftcds and cellophane and ribbons. Have 156 watchers and one bid for 99p. So everyone must be watching them to see how much they go for.

Craft things will fly out, keep fingers crossed for you.

On a positive note, I`ve really enjoyed this challenge and cant wait for the next. I`m actually taking time to make something and not spend it. So the time I spend on here, reviewing and listing must have saved me lots of money because I`m not shopping.

Guess thats gd if your not shopping, I am trying to be good!! xx

Jammy - have to say I've thoroughly been motivated by this challenge and can't wait for the next challenge.:T:beer:

I've made 62 pounds so far and have listed some more stuff last night that will finish before the end of the months deadline.:j

It has been the kick up the butt I've needed to get going, I also have transferred my topcashback payout into bank to cover what I've spent in boots sale. So my ebay winnings are going on pressies on ebay for christmas and birthdays and it feels great buying things knowing we're not parting with hard earned cash (not very hard anyways) I'm totally money neutral for half christmas, some birthdays, mothers day and teachers end of term pressies and we're only in January :-)

So all my survey vouchers etc; are going to be amazon and argos to put away for the kids for later on in the year, which will mean all the kids pressies will be covered too instead of having to use vouchers on adults too.:)

No problem scatty -well done to you. If we do the eBay challenge too frequently though, it is hard to stay motivated so I won't do that again for a little while. Limited time periods work well I think!

£23 on dooyoo and over £100 on eBay up to now!

Think everyone has made a fabulous start to the year!!

  • wow! I can't believe I haven't spotted this thread before. I do all the same things as you guys do. I do all the surveys, glitches etc and even keep spreadsheets of what I've bought for everyone, how much its cost and how much I've saved. I started last year but didn't do as well as I could have, so this year I'm stepping up a gear or two and have decided that xmas 2010 will be as free as possible lol so I would love to join you all if thats ok, it will be lovely to come and read how everyones doing and be able to tell someone how Im getting on too - my dh thinks Im nuts doing all the surveys & reviews. I've even started entering lots of competitions too in hope I might win some xmas pressies. Have loads of clutter so will be doing some ebaying this weekend I think. x

Welcome to the thread, I started money saving last November and it's become addictive, I can justify spending when I can make it back doing reviews and ebaying especially with the great finds on MSE.

Hubby also thinks I am nuts, until I pointed out my first cheque from dooyoo is on its way, he was impressed.

So organised and it feels great knowing there will be no stress in December!
