NO not completely free, but it does help if you have something that you want to start at a price other than 99p.
Say if you have something you hope to sell for £20. either you have to sell it for £20 and pay a listing fee or risk it starting at 99p (so no fees) and pray for the best.
At least this way you can list it at the minimum you want it to go for. I risked it in the week and almost cried all the way to the post office with my 99p sale, I had underestimated p and p too, so made a loss. On the otherhand, some things have sold for more than expected, so it all sorts itself out in the end.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

You do well on the bingo Pammy. I joined bingoport and used most of my points and haven't won yet. I'm not lucky with things like that.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

While I spent an hr photographing dds stuff, lost count of the swimsuits and bukinis shes grown out of, plus a whole worth of summer clothes shorts, tshirts etc picked up in last yrs sales for this yrs holidays and they dont fit, so batched tops up into 2 or 3, and hopefully there sell, all new but no tags....
Can't really get anywhere in my room to see if theres anything I've got to sell, as still got xmas stuff everywhere, got to do a room blitz... (HELP), but most of the odd bits are ready for car booting, when the weather improves xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -

Use the quick sell version - it's so much quicker. You'll get it done in half the time!
You've completed your challenge anyway, so don't feel like you have to do it. :beer:I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

That's brilliant, well done! :j
What form of postage do you use for things like the chair and mirror? Just wondering as I have some bigger things I wouldn't mind getting rid of but I've been put off as I don't know how to go about posting them.
Well the chair I listed as collection only, we've sold a few large items like this over the years with no problem and people will travel quite a distance to pick up things. The lady collected it from my workplace because she wanted to come during the day, I put it in my car boot and gave her my work address. It was a Lloyd Loom chair that I bought at my local junk shop for £15 but it never looked right in my bedroom. It sold for £17:D. The mirror I posted, well packed in a very large box, First Class.
Depends on how you feel about people coming to your home, it doesn't bother me and everyone I've met has been very friendly. HTH.0 -

Yes I agree, I think items find their own price whatever you start them at, if something's worth £20 to a buyer they'll bid up to that price. I always start at 99p and most things go for about what I expected, some for much more. It's annoying when something doesn't sell for much but maybe not enough buyers were looking at that time.0 -
