I sold mostly clothes I don't wear or like any more, plus a mirror which sold for £41 and a chair which sold for £17. In my experience, despite the negative comments about eBay generally, I've usually found it trouble-free and a great way to make a bit of cash from stuff sitting in your wardrobe. So for any new eBayers I'd say go for it. The biggest pain is going to the Post Office but still worth it. Looking forward to the next challenge!
That's brilliant, well done! :j
What form of postage do you use for things like the chair and mirror? Just wondering as I have some bigger things I wouldn't mind getting rid of but I've been put off as I don't know how to go about posting them.Making money for Christmas 2012!0 -

Well I am a bit late in starting the challenge for this month, but I am determined to get there. I have just signed up for dooyoo and have done 2 reviews so far and 4 people have rated them so far!:j
I have two items listed on ebay as well and one has 2 watchers! I am listing some more items tomorrow as it is free listing day. I have a credit balance on ebay fees at the moment though due to when I used to sell before.
I have also got some other things earmarked to sell on the local website which I can't sell on ebay. I will try and put them on tomorrow so they get sold before the end of the month.
I am determined to make the challenge this month, even if I have started a bit late. I have also convinced my husband to sell his sega megadrive and PS2. He doesn't play on either of them so has agreed that they can go and the proceeds go to me as well.:jDD1 born May 2002, DD2 born Dec 2005, DS born Dec 2008. Baby due May 2010! TEAM PINK!!

I started the challenge late as well, but I'm sure its easily done before the end of the month as long as you don't get a block on what to write! That has been my main downfall in the past, though I've managed a couple more reviews today and seem to be getting in the swing of reviewing again. I'm up to 5400 miles now, so quarter of the way there!Grocery budget in 2023 £2279.18/£2700Grocery budget in 2022 £2304.76/£2400Grocery budget in 2021 £2107.86/£2200Grocery budget in 2020 £2193.02/£2160Saving for Christmas 2023 #15 £ 90/ £3650

Yes It's free listing 12.01 to 11.59.
Don't forget to have your listing end a good time (between 6pm and 10pm) you have to pay 6p but it's worth it as you won't get many bidders at 12.01 in the morning.
