harrumph, not doing very well so far...

have not done anything about ebay yet - would love to but just haven't got time to get my head round it at the mo with tax returns and house tidying and a million and one other things to do - perhaps if we have another ebay challenge I will go for double.

dooyoo - really looking forward to this bit of the challenge, but I am having such problems registering, have emailed twice now and not had a response.

In the meantime, am trying to do as many surveys and as much bingoporting as I can to see what I can come up with.

:-( dooyoo took two thousands points of me for waffling, i wish i could work out which ones i was waffling on , it probably the 600 word ones, saying that it could be the shorter ones. Because they said i`d ended up under 150, so beware ladies.

That's not fair - at worst they should have just deducted the 500 points for the review. They should have told you where you were going wrong before it come to this!

yes elysia you may be right about the 24hour thing. still confusing though lol. will have to stick to doing them at the same time each night.

Got an email from who i assume to be someone from on here warning me of quality and spelling. i didnt know they checked them THAT thoroughly so have gone through all 42 and spell checked....the only thing being that my spell checker is as bad at spelling as me! lol it wants to add apostrophies to everything that doesnt need one. like 'womens mag'...is it women's or womans'?? i thought woman's mean 'women is' I dont know maybe a wrong example but some its done it on and im sure its not right.

also i think after staring at the screen for so long at night has resulted in floppy finger typing and brain blocks lol Im not usually this bad at spelling!

Thanks also for the ebay tip. I will sign up when bubba has his nap so i can concentrate.

I'd say it was 'women's mag', as it's a a magazine belonging to (or read by) a woman. The 's can mean either a shortened version on is, or the way of saying it's the something or other belong to.

For example:

This is Shorties post is spelling my name as a plural
This is Shortie's post is saying this post was writen by me.

Know what you mean about Ebay - when did they sneak that one in? (I've not sold for a while!) - I was surprised when I listed my stuff and now realise that I could make a loss if it only sells for 99p :mad: - will know for next time anyway! (I've reduced my buy-it-now price to try and tempt the watcher to buy it NOW!!) lol!

I'd like to join. I'm one of those people who start planning for Xmas as soon as the post-Xmas sales start. I've already got my wrapping paper and cards all sorted for this year. I find all these on-line surveys and "click" websites very confusing, so would appreciate being in a group that would help. I love the website too. I'm not very good at crafting, but I support local charities who have craft fairs, not sure if that's sort of the same thing Anyway, I'll get reading the rest of these threads and catch up.

I've never heard of that before, how strange!
Did they send you an email saying what had happened? I don't see how they can say you were waffling then say you'd written less than 150 words.
Could it perhaps be that 4 of your reviews weren't over the 150 words? I think the way it works is that when you write a review they apply 500 points to your 'pending' section. When the review is checked and passed for length then you get the 500 points in your 'redeemable' section. Maybe they were letting you know that some points wouldn't be transfering to redeemable as the review didn't have enough words?

If that's the case you can go back and add more words to the review so it passes and you will then get the 500 points for it.


If that isn't the case then I'm afraid I have no idea what happened! I've never heard of someone having so many points removed just for waffling and it doesn't seem very fair. Surely they should just not pay the 500 points for that review?
