Thank you, I'm relieved to hear that you could enter a job with little trouble. It's the first time RE showed the supermarket job for me, but I MSed the same store last month for Grassroots. Maybe the client goes for a different MS company every month? Not sure though, since I've been MSing for only just over a month now.

Is it a green supermarket with back pocket clicking staff???? Well that's it I won't be doing it anymore if Ridiculous Eyeballs have it as the fee will drop, the questions will increase and the website is permanantly crap.

    Message on RE website:

    Please note:

The office will be closed from 13:00 this afternoon due to the snow.

The office will not open again until 9:00 Thursday morning weather permitting.

Shirkers!! I bet they expect us all to get out and do our jobs!

Oh .. and the website is obviously also closed due to snow as I can't ruddy log in again!

Crikey, I can't believe they went home without sorting out the issues with the website. I would be most unimpressed if I were their client. Am glad I couldn't accept the supermarket visit earlier.

Has anyone done the ESA supermarket yet? if so how did it go ? Looking at the questionnaire, it seems to be more involved than it originally let on, or is that just me?

Did 3 today. Easy peasy. 1st one had no eggs as they hadn't been delivered, 2nd was still half branded as previous supermarket, 3rd was a small one. Guy who served me wasn't very bright and screwed my receipt into a ball and flung it onto the soaking wet floor. So I didn't bother taking the sandwich back as I will need to do it again. The 1st 2 apologised profusely about the sannies being off despite me being starving had eaten a whole half of one. This despite the fact I was off to do a Scottish burger and chips.

Memo to self. Cyrb one's gluttony when MS'ing.

Just out of interest have you filled in the "About me" section of the website? I can see a "Food Shopping" section on it that says 0% but I can't open the questions and wonder if this is why I can't see the Supermarket jobs....

Yes, you could be right. I've filled in the "Food Shopping" section and mine says 100%. I did it when I registered with them. Can't remember how I did it though... Just tried it myself and can't open the questions for "Travel", which says 20%.

I've done five ESA ones this morning and they were all fine. Everyone was ever so apologetic about my squashed crisps.

Had 6 inches of snow here overnight and the main roads are ok, but the side roads and car parks are barely passable. Managed to do the 5 ESA jobs, another supermarket for someone else and a lunchtime food job, so I'm quite pleased with what I got done :D

Mam dropped Charlotte off on her way to work, so I gave her a dozen eggs :D
Here I go again on my own....

Yep Hollypear, that's the one. The RE scenario is 'almost' identical to Grassroots but involves more, as you need to make 2 lots of purchases in order to assess a manned checkout AND a self checkout. Also you need to observe the store's management of queues. And obviously(!) RE questionnaire is ridiculously long - it actually comprises of 2 questionnaires, would you believe! RE offers more reimbursement but less fee compared to Grassroots. Can't decide if it's worth doing myself. By the way, love the naming 'Ridiculous Eyeballs'!:rotfl:

Interesting. I've seen the same scenario on GR recently. With an extra £2 to cover the self service.

Well !!!!!! and damn it. I recently chucked my job in this store. One reason being this company are sacking people right left and centre for failing mytery shops, treat the colleagues like crap, your not allowed a drink of water when it is roasting in summer and you've been sat next to a glass window for hours. You are not allowed to go to the toilet.

I found out through the union someone in an English one got sacked over a failed MS but unknown to her store she had joined the union. Girl went home after clearing her locker and feeling gutted she phoned the union. They demanded to see the report and she wasn't even at work that day so it wasn't her. She got re-instated.

Because of this not allowed water caper I developed kidney stones and was off so I got a disciplinary hearing and they took a whole year's bonus off me.

Gosh I am in full rant mode here now.

But the combination of this supermarket and Ridiculous Eyeballs working in cahoots fills me with horror. Are RE wanting one of their daft pics of the supermarket.
