Go back a page or two. I believe there's one question that you have to answer wrongly.

    (a) I don't work for them & they don't offer referral fees
    (b) It took 9 months before my application was followed up 'cos they only recruit periodically - most of their assessors stay with them
    (c) I - obviously wrongly - thought that all those people moaning about RE might appreciate knowing about a more professional company
    (d) I offered the info as a friendly gesture to fellow MSers
    (e) I'm not worried about competition 'cos I've built up my reputation with them...........& they email me (& all their assessors) specific assignments. Not like I have to log in & compete with others for jobs
They can't recruit that frequently. I applied 2 years ago and have heard absolutely nothing since :(

The email they sent at the time said "we will give you the opportunity to reaffirm your interest every 6 months by emailing you and asking you to update your records".

Well they haven't even done that so I'm not impressed.
  • Wonder when ESA will allocate "100s of pennies" shops -I've two sitting in My Applications box and they have to be done tomorrow or Tuesday. Makes it difficult to plan and I know I should plan without them but I really would like to do them - guess I can't win, can I?

I applied for one near me but didn't get it. It disappeared from My Applications box a couple of days ago.:(

Mine too. Waiting for the 39 egg jobs that I've applied for to disappear without trace any day now!!

My penny shop applications also disappeared but the jobs are still sitting on the list to be allocated. Feel a bit insulted not to have been given 1 as so far I've been getting lots of work for ESA. Think it must be punishment for having to put back a job the other day as I was ill.
  • Just had a quick check - mine still in my Applications box! Daren't say how many "egg shops" I've applied for - would like to think I might get 20 - what will I do with 120 eggs? - already got four and a half dozen from last week. I always apply for the ones near home (never get them) but also apply for further away ones - means we get a day out (husband as chauffeur), lunch somewhere nice and when we get back he makes tea whilst I do reporting in. One of the few advantages to being retired is that we have plenty of time and we get paid as well.
Must say Mystery shopping has really helped to get us through the winter - if we hadn't had to go out we would have stayed in and festered in the cold weather.

Might be it was allocated to someone who didn't accept it so could be worth applying again.
