Hi everyone. Was just going through my list of MS companies and came across one called Secret Shoppers. Have never managed to do a job for them, but there are loads of jewellers on there at the moment. The fees quite high, but its paid in euros. They're not mentioned on the 1st page of the thread, so thought I would mention them to everyone...and no, I dont work for them - I dont even get a referral! That said, I dont know what they are like to work for, so dont blame me if they turn out to be another RE!:j

Although they don't pay in €, they pay in US$ - the fees aren't bad, but they only offer one type of job, don't always assign to you and expect a lot of writing in return. And they pay VERY slowly, and only via paypal. In the fickle world of MSing that worries me a little, because judging by their website they are a small outfit which always makes me a bit nervous because you might submit the work and then they might go out of business before they pay you!

Have added it to the OP.

Keep em' coming - must be loads more that some of you use that us others don't know about!!

I thought there was one called Spies are Us but have Googled 'till I'm blue in the face and can't find it.

for the torso shop on RE can you use a voucher to help pay for the purchase. The daily telegraph is offering a £5 voucher for any purchase with no minimum spend. The voucher is valid until 21/02/10.

Sorry, I don't know the answer. You might want to ring and ask RE just to be safe. If you can't get hold of RE before the visit, maybe you can make two purchases? One for the assignment and one to use the voucher.

I did the torso shop last week and bought a pot of face cream (£8). Then 3 days later I found out the online shop was selling it for £4. If you check the website, there are lots of bargains. Also don't forget to check HotUKDeals (if you search 'Torso Shop' & 'Hand Protector' it should come up) - there is a £5 off voucher code too.:D I got 3 items worth around £30 for less than £9 (went through Top Cashback and got £1.5 back). Hope this helps!:)

Please can you add to the first post that Bare also pay for referrals, so if people are signing up then can they ask to be PMed for a referral (like for RE). Thanks

They are quite good, as you get 1€ for each shop that one of your referees performs. They only pay out when you get to 20€ though, so need to sign up a few people or one prolific one!

  • Grr! Does anyone know if TNS pay out if a site is closed when you visit? Had a waste of a visit!

If you visited the correct site at the correct time and date as specified by them, then I can't see how they can refuse. Make sure you take a photo to show it closed. The obviously won't pay any reimbursement as you won't be able to make a purchase but they should pay the fee.
