I am confused about ESA, applied to join and was approved and have completed my bank details, but I keep seeing job alerts from them and I can't see job's on the website, I thought it said somewhere you would be contacted if jobs were available but it sounds from other posts tah tyou should be able to search jobs, am I missing something?

You have to apply for the jobs. On the left hand side after you log in you'll see "Open opportunities" and a number. Click there, and it will list jobs in your area. You can change the amount of jobs you see by changing the distance or town at the top.

Once you have found a job you'd like to do, apply for it then wait and see if you get it.

    * Disclaimer. I don't work for ESA, I just seem to be the only one around at the moment. If I did work for ESA i'd actually allocate myself a job or 2!

Has anyone had a look at the audits on ESA and had a play with the data entry sheet. I can't get it to open on spreadsheet. I have a restricted excel (as I never really needed it), got it to open but can't enter anything on it. Some cells are coming up with a read only message. Is everyone else getting this? Or is it due to my dodgy excel? May have to consider getting it.

    Me again! :rotfl:

I can get it to work fine, but the spreadsheet needs macros in order to work so not sure you'd be able to use it on a restricted excel.

In the options at the top I have the first part of my postcode and my distance set. Thats all. I see the jobs within 40 miles ok. To see all jobs click on the red writing at the top.

Thanks. I think I may have to consider getting full excel. I wasn't able to use ukmonkeys spreadsheet and now I cant take jobs because I cant open some of the sheets! Oh well.

Wasnt happy when I saw the egg jobs were for a week that I cant do them. But maybe it's for the best. Did 14 first time round and 8 this week. Thats a lot of eggs. And I cant keep going back into the same shops complaining about their sandwiches all the time. There's a couple of shops there that I've only just done!

That is a lot of eggs! I think they've added some new thing i've not seen before anyway as I applied for one I did last month and it told me it was too soon.

Well, I presume it's new. It doesn't say that for the coffee jobs.

I inherited the Excel program from using my brothers old laptop, and I can use it fine without needing the original disk, so maybe see if you know anyone who has a copy?

In case anyone else was having the same problem, I can open the ESA audit data sheet with OpenOffice.

Thanks Miss Q. Looks like I've got a solution. :)
