  • My guess is you didn't satisfy one or more of the criteria in the screening questions.

i didn't even get to the screening questions lol
I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!

Oo- er then! Don't have an answer for that one.
    :rotfl:

    Are you still on probation?

    Aha!

If you joined today then I think it takes a day or so to update on their system.

Alternatively if you have already accepted one job then you will not be able to apply for others until that has been completed and the assignment passed through the proof reading and accepted for payment. Once the first job has been successfully received then they will allow you to select more.

Top right of page shows status. Yours will say probationary but eventually will say active.

Hope I explained that well- bit tired and thuddled of moughts.

I had to go through the screening questions 3 times - but yay! for pizza!

And for once actually managed to tie two for different companies together in the same shopping centre. Off for posh breakfast now.

    Hi,

Thanks to all the people who post such useful info on this thread - people like myself who have just started really appreciate the help, advice and support.

I have a question which I can't see answered anywhere (it may be that I just can't see it of course....)

I have just been paid by Bare for a job and I think my bank have taken £20 of the fee for the inconvenience to them of giving me my Euro fee as Pounds. Does anyone have a tip for avoiding this theft happening in future?

And just in case its helpful to someone some advice - I wouldn't use NatWest for Bare payments in future!

    Thanks

I've not done work before for bare but do remember this happening to a poster. It's all down to the bank and finding one which doesn't charge for things like this - and then even switching accounts or opening a basic cash or savings account and getting your money paid in there.

Expensive lesson to learn unfortunately but I would try ringing the bank and appealing to their better (??) nature on this occasion they may refund the charges.

    Good Luck

  • I wonder if I could ask a question of people who've mystery shopped 'torse shops' before? :) You get a spend limit - does this need to be spent on one item, or can I buy two? Any advice much appreciated as I've not done one before!

loulou_1984 - I bought 3 items and got the full reimbursement :). I spent over the max spend so didn't actually make anything, but, hey, they had a sale on so I got a bargain :D
