I'm in Central London so I am surprised there aren't more. Nice to know it's not just me. Grassroots has offered me one job in a month, and that was taken before I got there, don't think they like me! I NEVER get assigned ESA or React jobs I apply for *moans* but RE, well, they can't offer me them fast enough! I'd love to go behind the scenes and see how these companies work, it's a mystery

I also had to cancel two jobs from them earlier in the month due to bad weather. I did one for them on Monday and a telephone one on Tuesday. There hasn't been much work from them at all in the last week. It's a shame as they are my very bestest favourite! (as my two year old would describe sweeties)

I thought it was me also, but now am much happier knowing we're all in the same boat. Grassroots have had nothing in my area this week at all.
Got a call from Retail Maxim and they offered me 5 jobs for during Feb which is a bonus as I only ever get about one or two a year from them!

I have done most of those calls but had to draw the line at the one where you say you've got 4 kids to about 4 different partners and some of them are in goal. My voice just doesn't sound like that type of person, they'd have me sussed within seconds as a mystery caller.:(

Completely off the MSing subject but still a relevant money earning tip. If you have any spare scrap gold (like you see in the hundreds of adverts on telly) Dont post it off. Ring jewellers in your area and ask if they buy it. A few in my area do and they are offering twice the amount that the postal ones do! Off to cash in this afternoon.

I think the competition in London is quite high - I get a few banks with GFK but the central London ones (the only ones I can get to within work hours) seem to disappear quickly. I have picked up a few corner shops in outer London recently tho. I have moaned about not getting GR jobs before, I have only had a couple of bank jobs, but they require me to have an account with them and they are not really a big player in the banking world so I guess there is less competition. I think the GR radius is quite small so I have added a few major London shopping centres to see if this helps. I also never get anything from ESA (apart from a few egg jobs), so don't know how to go about doing that! I have even found it hard to get React jobs recently too. If it wasn't for TNS and RE I would hardly get anything!

I'm limited with the ESA jobs which I can apply to as I work full time and most of the assignments need to be completed between 9am and 5pm, Mondays to Fridays. No good to me as the only ones I can get to during my lunch hour are the coffee and historical shops which I have never been allocated so far! The egg jobs could have been done on Saturdays but I already had my ms visits planned and could not fit anymore in.
