Things I'd like to know: why do I never see any of the RE jobs excpet in airports and bad pubs and the occasional sandwich? Does your number of points make a big difference? What about ages? I'm 33. I've got a business email and phone no listed.

Sorry. Very quiet this week and needed a moan!
Because only the rubbish jobs are ever left. All the good ones get snapped up within 10 seconds of them getting released on air. They tend to release most of their jobs in the evenings between 8 and 9 so if you're mental enough you can sit on your computer for an hour and keep checking every two seconds.

They often do a huge release of jobs (250+ in my area sometimes) between 1 am and 3 am (even though RE have regularly denied that this happens). That is really the only time I manage to pick up anything decent. I do have a problem accepting jobs when they are uploading at the same time, though. It seems to slow everything down to snail's pace. Either that or there's server stuff going on at the same time. This is therefore never a good time to do reports!

If you're not in any rush to get an iPhone, I'd hold out til June/July. We're expecting a new model so it's not always best to tie yourself down in a contract just yet. Also the price of the old models will then go down too.
Ooh, thank you. I'm due an upgrade at the end of April and quite fancied getting an iPhone so I might hold on. I've never had one before so aren't fussed about getting the new model, but as you say, the older models might be cheaper.

Can anyone actually see their RE money in the bank yet? Just checked mine and its not in yet and I'm sure its usually showing but not 'fully' credited by now - or am I just being jumpy because of gap's hopeless customer service?
    No, can't see it.

Have had a reply from Gap though. Money should be in by the end of the week. If it isn't, I'm to contact them and they'll investigate.

    No reason, no apology.

I'm still not doing any jobs for them in the meantime.

All the restaurant jobs were uploaded yesterday lunchtime.

The tablets are about £2.50, so you can get 2 extra products per visit!

Also be VERY CAREFUL - there is a Congestant and DECONGESTANT variant, same coloured box and everything, usually the congestant one is on the shelf and the decongestant in a perspex panel / behind the counter.

These are the decongestant/BMI jobs. If you have still got any left to do:

Watch out if you have to buy the alternative product (only when the first one is out of stock). The alternative costs a stonking £4.69. Not much change out of fiver for that! That's clearly why the spending limit is what it is!:(
  • Does anyone know who has the Subway shops now as GB has lost the contract?

    Thanks

    Thanks

    Yes, I do.

Sadly for you we're not allowed to mention client names on here due to confidentiality clauses within our contracts with the mystery shopping companies.

Not too handy in the pocket or handbag though is it?

My netbook goes everywhere with me & fits into my bags perfectly! OK - I don't have diddy handbags, but no problems carrying it around, and I get most of my jobs while I'm out & about as I check regularly!! :D

My phone contract runs out next month though & I am after a phone that can do everything too!

I was impressed with the Blackberry during recent phone jobs, and my husband has an iphone which he loves...... but I'm still looking!
    ;)

Yes and I managed to nab one quick smart. Had a lovely lunch today at a snails trail. Took the mother-in-law. Used a 50% off food voucher so it cost me just over £12 and that's including wine & coke (as per brief!)

I did a Tapas at lunchtime today with hubby. Didn't realise RE allowed the use of vouchers. Still, we only went £3.99 over the brief so no worries. Which of you had the pint of lager then?

ETA: On my brief it says "You must not use any form of voucher as part or full payment for your purchases. Should you do this your report will be invalidated and we will be unable to pay you for your assignment." I hope they pay you! Tell them your Mother in law didn't know you were MS-ing and produced the voucher when you asked for the bill and you had to use it 'cos it would have looked odd to say "Oh no, I want to pay full price!!"

Where are the Scottish brigade when you need them? I'm about to release an RE tapas job in Silverburn for tonight if anyone wants to pick it up.

    (Bl**dy photos).

I'd love to have done that as 'Silverburn' is on my doorstep, grew up there before it was a jazzy shopping centre BUT RE never give me TAPAS think i'm too old :mad::mad::mad::mad:

    Thanx anyway
    E:)
