Meandmaboy, was think about the age group that are on here ! ;) It does seem that "we" are roughly the same age ! Gonna be honest here . . . i'm 41 :o

Think that we all get to this age, we are wiser and more cautious with our money using Money Off Coupons, collecting Tesco Points etc etc :) . . . Soooo Mystery Shoppers I recon are mostly women late 30's + . . .

    Happy Monday everyone !

So agree with you, I think when we were the age of the young 'uns' on here :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
there wasn't any money off coupons / stores didn;t give loyalty points etc etc :eek::eek::eek::eek:& don't know if MS existed as it does now ?
Does anyone know when Mystery Shopping started in the Uk ?:)
  • Is it just me who can't see the alert?
  • Ok, could not find the answer so gussed and passed lol (not feeling so stupid anymore lol)

Although another question (you lot are going to boot me off here lol)

When you get a reimbursment e.g. 10 for purchasing food does that mean that you get to order to that value and they will pay e.g. spend 8 and they will pay the 8 or does it meant you get 10 whatever you purchase.

Little unsure about this as i have only just started, and the ones i have done have not been paid yet like the egg shop. It was £3 max spend and i spent 2.11. do they give me the 2.11 or all 3 pound?

You will only be paid back what you actually spent, so best to spend as close to the expenses amount on the assignment as possible :) hth

Gapbuster usually pay the full reimbursement whether you spend it or not. Although most of the time the reimbursement they offer doesn't cover what they ask you to spend.

Retail Eyes will only reimburse what you spend. Eg. they offer £20 reimbursement. If you spend £15, you get £15. If you spend £25, you get £20. So try and spend the max you can to get your money back!!!

Thanks. Any explanation as to why it's so late?

This is all the email said. Perhaps they are moving to the 27th from now on??

GAPbuster Worldwide processes all shopper payments on a monthly basis. Here’s an example of when we process payments:

If you successfully complete an assignment between the 1st – end of a given month, your payment will be processed by the 27th of the following month.
As such payment for all assignments completed up until the end of December will be processed by the 27th January.

    We hope this helps.
