I have recently completed a couple of recorded telephone calls for RE on the new system, on the old system you could listen to the recording of the MP3 but I can't seem to access it now - am I missing something?
Thanks0 -
I've just been catching up with everything on here and know that HP reacted totally out of character - but you can see why when you realise what she has to go through sometimes.
What leg of the journey would you like ME to ferry your sister HP?!!
I can't offer to drive her but could give her a piggy-back from the end of the M8 to yours if someone can drop her off there!
I laughed at that. I am as you know a skinny thing. My sister is neither round , square nor oval. Now my holiday is back on I am off out to the spray tanning salon ( the one near Sainsbury). If you see someone who looks radio active in Bearsden say hello cos it will be me.Clique member no 1.:D0 -

Oh my God - not you too?!!
I thought it was just me who'd had a perm AND a shellsuit at the same time!
I once had a perm & when I came out of the hairdresser's my husband said " B****y hell, you look older than your mother!!"
I sent him to the chemist right away to get a bottle of Twink, and went home & straightened it!
Next day in work everyone said "I thought you were getting a perm?"
"Nah - changed my mind" said I.
I'm sure it wasn't just us Scousers who had them either..........!
I think I ended up having my hair cut really short to get rid of my perm. It was awful. And to amke it worse my hair was short at the sides and long at the back to start with (think mullet!) AND I had a "spiky fringe" with gel. Oh my God, I think I'd better shut up now..........:DIf you can’t beat your computer at chess, try kickboxing.:rotfl:0 -

Lots of released out of date jobs avail for me this morning on RE, it'll take a week to get thro to get them to change the dates :mad::mad::mad:
Other than that have my 1st MS of 2010
That makes me trailing well behind most of you,:eek::eek::eek: don't think I'll be able to catch up.
I'm so pee'd off at all the released jobs now showing. I had to go to Glasgow (twice!) yesterday and checked all the sites before I left home to see if I could pick anything up.0 -
Manjo if your mum has a definite diagnosis are you claiming extra pension credit for her as the Pension office class this as severe disability. You are also entitled to attendance allowance. Also have you applied for power of attorney. You need to do it through a solicitor and needs to be done while she has capacity to understand. It means you have to be consulted if your mum sees any doctor and helps dealing with all sorts of people. My mum changed electricity supplier in Oct, Nov and Dec. Now her bills come to me plus her phone bill as she was phoning all those premium competition numbers.
I am also going through this at the moment with my Dad who lives 40 miles away from me and, as we have only just found out, is in the early stages of vascular dementia. It is a very stressful, confusing and (quite frankly) frightening time and I wondered if we could perhaps set up a forum, or a thread on an appropriate forum, to chat about it and share advice and experiences. Please PM me if you think that might be a good idea.0 -

Hi squidgemum,
I think a lot of us on here are of the same age group & probably have similair problems with elderly or ageing parents with health problems
My mother died when she was 64 & dad died @ 75 & neither had any dementia or alzheimers problems. Ex MIL has dementia & has had to go into a nursing home.
DS is not keen to visit her as he is a bit frightened by her behaviour
APOLOGIES for this not being in the flavour of mystery shopping,
other than RE not answering their phone :mad: again0
